Your views matter to us
Whilst we strive to ensure you always receive a high quality service there may be times when you feel that this has not been the case. You may wish to make a complaint or may just want to make a suggestion. Alternatively you may have positive comments to make about the care you receive at the Surgery.
Whatever your comments you can rest assured they will be taken note of and they may even lead to change of policy. Whilst common themes may be responded to via the General information / FAQ section of this website, you will not normally receive individual feedback except where listed below.
Please always provide your full name. This will allow us to confirm your status as a patient at the surgery and to verify the feedback as being genuine. Except in extreme cases (rudeness, racist comments, persistent harassment, etc) the care we offer you will not be affected by your comments.
How we determine your views
- Official complaints are discussed in management meetings, responded to individually, and audited annually. If you wish to make an official complaint, please write to the practice manager
- General verbal comments made to the doctors and staff are discussed in staff meetings
- We have a feedback box in the waiting area which is checked regularly
- Each doctor voluntarily undertakes an annual patient survey to measure patient satisfaction with that particular doctor. (for results check the Profile link)
- The practice takes part in the annual externally-arranged GPAQ survey. This measures such parameters as doctor care, nurse care, the appointment system, attitude of staff, etc. (For results check the Profile link)
- Patients group meetings enable patients and the practice to develop a shared understanding of various issues and to consider changes.
